Ski carry ‘collapses’ in Spain leaving a number of individuals injured

Dozens of individuals have been injured, some critically, in a chair carry accident in Spain, in response to native media experiences.

The incident befell on the Astún ski resort, which is on the Spanish border with France, within the Pyrenees mountain vary.

No less than 30 individuals have been injured within the incident. 9 of these are very critically injured, and eight critically injured, in response to native media experiences.

The trigger is at present unknown.

Photographs and movies circulating on social media appeared to indicate individuals mendacity on the ground close to a ski carry. A helicopter was additionally seen touchdown on the resort.

“All our affection to the injured and their families,” he stated.

President of the federal government of Aragon, Jorge Azcón, stated he had been knowledgeable of the incident and was travelling to the scene.

The Spanish prime minister additionally stated he had spoken with Mr Azcón “to offer him the full support of the government”.

A phone line has been arrange for the households of these affected.

Jaime Pelegrí, a industrial director at Spotify, wrote on X: “Accident in Astún. The Canal Roya chair has fallen. Luckily we are fine but there are injured people, we have seen several stretchers coming down.”
