Spartan bus tour hits the street

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – A bus stuffed with Michigan State College school and employees Spartans hit the street this morning simply previous 7 am on a whirlwind two-day journey all through Metro Detroit.

Kwesi Brookins, Vice Provost for Group Outreach and Engagement, says that a part of the journey’s purpose is to “bookend a lot of what we can learn about Detroit and…[what] our role as a University is in serving Michigan.”

The tour will embody stops on the Holocaust Middle in Farmington Hills, the newly reopened Motown Museum, and the Detroit Institute of Arts.
