Stolen canine discovered, suspect arrested in Ingham County

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Ingham County Sheriff’s deputies rescued a stolen canine earlier this morning and arrested the suspected offender.

The Ingham County Sheriff’s Workplace experiences that deputies have been dispatched to Cedar St. and Holt Rd. in Delhi Township for a stolen car at roughly 2:00 a.m.

The sufferer informed deputies that his canine, Moose, was contained in the car when it was stolen. Deputies recognized a suspect someday later and located the car deserted at Cedar St. and Faculty Rd. at round 9:00 a.m.

The 26-year-old suspect, a person from Mason, was arrested on the 1600 block of North Faculty Rd. at round 11:00 a.m.

Moose was present in “good health and returned to his very grateful owner,” mentioned the Ingham County Sheriff’s Workplace in a information launch despatched to six Information.
