Hacking collective Rhysida has threatened to public sale off leaked knowledge it allegedly stole from the Maryland Division of Transportation for 30 bitcoin (BTC) value $3.4 million. 

Rhysida introduced the sale this week, promoting a seven-day public sale to anybody wanting to purchase the information, which reportedly contains social safety numbers, ID particulars, audit reviews, confidential authorized paperwork, and attorney-client communications.

“We only sell to one hand, no reselling, you will be the only owner,” it mentioned.

On Monday, officers from the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA), a department of the Maryland Division of Transportation, revealed it had suffered an unauthorized cybersecurity breach that resulted in “data loss.”
