EMMETT TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities say a person was arrested after damaging a police automobile throughout a chase all through Calhoun County on Christmas.

The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Workplace mentioned it began round 7 p.m. on Operating Deer Ridge Drive in Leroy Township, south of Battle Creek.

An individual referred to as authorities after a 33-year-old Leroy Township artificial threats to hurt members of the family utilizing firearms and explosive gadgets. When deputies arrived, the sheriff’s workplace mentioned the person assaulted the complainant earlier than leaving the scene.

The suspect returned to the scene and tried to hit deputies along with his automobile earlier than driving away, in line with a information launch. His automobile went off the roadway and struck a tree.
