Tennis star Kamil Majchrzak responds to video of boy having his cap snatched at US Open

Tennis star Kamil Majchrzak has responded to footage of a boy having his cap snatched from him within the crowd on the US Open this week.

Majchrzak signed balls and towels for followers at Flushing Meadows after beating Russia’s Karen Khachanov on Thursday.

After interacting with a number of supporters, Majchrzak took his cap off and gave it to a younger boy within the crowd.

Inside seconds, nevertheless, a person standing subsequent to him grabbed it from his palms and put it in a bag {that a} girl subsequent to him was holding.

It’s not clear whether or not the person had any connection to the boy.

After the incident was captured on digicam, Majchrzak posted the footage on his Instagram, asking his followers to assist him monitor down the boy.

“After the match I did not file that my cap did not get to the boy, he wrote.

A short while later, he posted once more to say he had traced the younger fan.

The Polish participant beat Khachanov in 5 units on Thursday.

On Friday, Britain’s Cameron Norrie was knocked out of the competitors by Novak Djokovic.

In the meantime, Emma Raducanu was overwhelmed in straight units by Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan.

Elsewhere on the US Open, a pair obtained engaged within the crowds as world primary Aryna Sabalenka beat Leylah Fernandez.

The proposal was captured on the massive display to nice applause from spectators.
