It’s nearly scorching woman summer season, and we predict the freshly single celeb might be headlining the entire thing. We caught up with the Summer season Home star and soon-to-be-published writer to get her secrets and techniques on how she retains her hair so shiny, writing a guide with bestie and co-podcast host Hannah Berner and her scorching woman summer season prep.
On summer season tendencies she’s excited for…
“I’m actually very excited that the bohemian trend is kind of coming back because I love that hair like a loose wave, especially for the summer, and I’m so not bohemian in style but I love a trend and trying new trends so I’m excited to experiment in that way. Do you remember that Lindsay Lohan movie Georgia Rules? I don’t know why, but I was obsessed with that movie when it came out. I think I was like a freshman in high school and I remember she just wore so many white dresses with that bohemian feel and bracelets. Lindsay Lohan in Georgia Rules is my vibe this summer.”
On her scorching woman summer season prep…
“I’m trying to get my 10K steps in, but honestly I don’t. I do pilates like twice a week and then I just implemented walking up my stairs once a day, which started because my elevator was down.
Honestly, when I came off of tour I felt like my adrenaline left my body, so my skin has been breaking out like crazy. That’s why I feel like it’s even more important for me to have good hair days. You can’t go into a place and not be having either a good face day or good hair day, and so right now, it’s all about having good hair days.”
Courtesy of TRESemmé On her partnership with TRESemmé…
“I’ve used TRESemmé since I was little. It was like one of my first memories of a hair product because my mom loves hairspray, so that’s the first thing I used. I didn’t know there were other hair products. Then, during my very first fashion week in New York City, I remember seeing a TRESemmé pop up and just being like, ‘Wait, that’s so cool,’ so when they asked me to partner, I was like, ‘This is perfect.’ And TRESemmé is truly the only brand I can ever find a mini hairspray of.”
On the brand new Lamellar Gloss Assortment…
“I have so many flyaways all the time, and if I’m doing a high pony or a bun and I want to feel more put together, I’ll just put a little of the Finishing Oil ($7) in there, and it‘s perfect. The finishing Shine Spray ($10) is a great last step. Whenever I do a regular pony, even if I’m just going to Pilates, I always feel like I look so messy with my baby hairs, so it’s so much easier, and you feel so much more put together with the products.”
On writing Easy methods to Giggle…
“When they first reached out to us, and they were like, ‘We want you to write a book,’ I was like, ‘Certainly not us.’ Everyone I ever talked to from Bravo who had written a book was like, ‘Oh you get a ghostwriter, you’ll be fine. You just talk to them, and they’ll write it up the way it’s supposed to be written up.’ But then Simon & Schuster was like, ‘No this is comedy, you guys actually have to write it. We can’t give you a ghostwriter.’ That was very humbling, and then I realized I really don’t know punctuation, but Hannah’s mom used to be a principal, so she actually helped us edit a lot of it. All of the things she would write for me in red would be like, ‘Paige we don’t know what you’re talking about” or ‘This doesn’t make any sense. Rewrite.’
We’re so conversational, so I had to determine the best way to make it sound regular. Going again and including jokes in was actually enjoyable. We simply did the audiobook final week, and we cherished doing it. It was a lot enjoyable. I bought to see sure components of the guide that have been Hannah’s components that I didn’t learn once we have been writing them, so I noticed them once we have been doing the audiobook, and it’s simply so humorous and good.
We cut up up the writing. We went by means of what we needed every chapter to be, and we did Hannah’s model and Paige’s model. It’s a very simple, gentle, enjoyable learn. I used to be actually pondering of the women who’re happening trip and need to be a lady who brings a guide on trip—I need to be that woman, however I by no means am. However you could possibly really decide up at any level within the guide and skim one web page, then put it down. In fact, there are photos. We had a minimal web page that we needed to get to, and we have been like, “Well, we’ll add pictures.”
