LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A high-speed rollover crash in Livingston County killed a girl and injured two others. The crash occurred shortly after 4 p.m. Tuesday on the intersection of Rickett Highway and Maltby Highway in Inexperienced Oak Constitution Township.
Investigators say an 81-year-old man from Whitmore Lake was driving a silver Jeep and was driving at excessive velocity earlier than hitting a blue GMC Terrain. When first responders arrived on the scene, they discovered each drivers and one passenger pinned inside their automobiles, prompting extrication efforts.
Police say the 35-year-old lady from Howell who was driving the GMC Terrain died on the scene and a 50-year-old lady passenger was taken to an area hospital with critical accidents. The 81-year-old man driving the Jeep was additionally taken to a hospital with critical accidents.
The Livingston County Main Crash Staff is investigating this crash.
