LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The Napoleon Township Police and Fireplace Departments have recognized the 2 ladies killed in a hearth that burned down a house in Jackson County on Sunday.

The departments report that they had been dispatched to the 6200 block of Brooklyn Highway at round 1:47 a.m. after receiving stories of a construction fireplace.
First responders arrived to seek out “significant fire conditions” and noticed three autos parked within the driveway.
Fireplace crews started search-and-rescue operations whereas trying to place out the hearth. Two victims had been discovered inside the house, who’ve been recognized as 76-year-old Sandra M. Miracle and 50-year-old Susan M. Miracle. They had been pronounced deceased on the scene.
A canine was rescued from the house and has been transferred to Jackson County Animal Management.
The Michigan State Police and the Jackson County Medical Examiner’s Workplace are aiding with the continued investigation.
