LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– The Michigan State Police Jackson Submit confirmed two lethal crashes occurred over the weekend. On Saturday, July 12, 2025, a person from Horton crashed right into a tree on Thorne Rd shortly after 7:40 a.m.
Troopers mentioned in a launch that the motive force was heading south on Throne Street, crossed the middle lane, drove off the street, and hit a tree head-on. The 49-year-old man was taken to the hospital, the place he died from his accidents.
A second lethal crash occurred on Saturday, July 12, 2025, in Grass Lake Township. A 22-year-old man from Chelsea died after he fell from the tailgate of a truck. Troopers had been dispatched to Clear Lake Street. Investigators say six folks had been in a single automobile that drove from a house to a storage unit.
Troopers say a 21-year-old from Grass Lake sped up and prompted the 22-year-old man to fall from the again of the truck.
The 22-year-old was taken to a hospital however died from his accidents.
