The US Treasury claims that cybercriminals can then “quickly change to different domain names and IP addresses when legitimate providers attempt to take the websites down.” 

Since January this 12 months, the FBI claims to have discovered 548 “Funnull Canonical Names” linked to over 332,000 distinctive domains. The Treasury additionally claims that the typical loss to those crypto scams is over $150,000 and “likely underestimates the total losses.”

Funnull Expertise and the operations it serves are simply the newest examples of a crypto-related rip-off enterprise primarily based in Southeast Asia, a area that’s seen rip-off compounds defended with militias and crammed with kidnapped slaves.
