“This look is unique because it gives the vibe of effortless wet but actually takes a decent amount of work,” explains grasp hairstylist and Goldwell nationwide artist, Steven Picciano. “It feels high fashion and understated at the same time. It’s a cross from soft to edgy.”

From the runway to the quilt of magazines, this look leverages a few main tendencies to create a stand-out type.

“The wavy, wet look is unique because it combines two trends, effortless, natural waves and a fresh, almost dewy finish,” says Kimble. “It gives the illusion of just coming from the beach or after a shower. This look allows the hair’s texture and natural movement to shine through, creating a vibe that’s chic yet laid-back. The wetness adds a polished, glossy shine that elevates the casual waves.”

This look additionally strikes a steadiness between motion and a low quantity of quantity.
