What we all know thus far about mass taking pictures at Sydney’s Bondi Seaside

How did the taking pictures unfold?

Emergency providers have been known as to Campbell Parade about 6.45pm on Sunday (7.45am UK time), responding to stories of photographs being fired.

Witnesses have described the phobia and confusion as lots of individuals fled the seaside.

“Pregnant women, women with kids, just everyone’s running and just running.

“Like the entire it was simply panic. It was pandemonium.”

Harry Wilson, who witnessed the shooting, told the Sydney Morning Herald: “I noticed not less than 10 individuals on the bottom and blood in all places.”

“Then all of the sudden we noticed hundreds of individuals simply working this manner. So all of us simply went inside, holed up within the bathrooms.

“I’ve got a friend that’s holed up in a basement now. Everybody went inside.”

Phil mentioned he quickly realised the sounds of fireworks have been “more than that”.

“We’re a bit shaken,” he added.

‘Suspicious objects positioned’

Police mentioned their operation was “ongoing” and a “number of suspicious items located in the vicinity” have been being examined by specialist officers. An exclusion zone was in place, they added.

How have politicians reacted?

Australia’s Prime Minister Anthony Albanese mentioned the scenes in Bondi have been “shocking and distressing”.

He mentioned in a press release: “Police and emergency responders are on the ground working to save lives.

“My ideas are with each particular person affected.”

Opposition leader Sussan Ley said: “The lack of life from this assault is important and I be a part of with the prime minister in urging all Australians to comply with official recommendation from police and related authorities.”
