Williamston palms St. Johns its first lack of the season

WILLIAMSTON, Mich. (WLNS) – Williamston and St. Johns traded baskets within the 2nd half, however the Hornets would on to get the win 41-36.

Williamston gamers spoke to their preparations for tight recreation conditions and relying on their protection to face tall. Williamston head coach Pete Cool echoed these sentiments.

“We’re trying to work as a group together and when we’re able to do that, we can be a pretty darn good defensive team,” defined coach Cool. “We do have lapses like anything, and we have challenges, and we have a lot of room for growth but when we’re playing as a team we do very well defensively.”  

Subsequent up for Williamston, is a matchup with Okemos on December 17.  St. Johns with even be again in motion on December 17, after they tackle Charlotte.
