15-year-old boy hospitalized in avenue racing crash dies

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A 15-year-old boy hospitalized in final week’s large five-vehicle crash in South Lansing has died.

Final Thursday, responders from a number of jurisdictions have been referred to as out to the scene of a five-vehicle crash on Martin Luther King Blvd. close to Pierce Rd. at round 8:30 p.m.

Police say the crash occurred as a result of drivers of a Jeep Cherokee and a Chevy Malibu racing one another down MLK at excessive velocity, crashing right into a car making a authorized flip onto the street. These three automobiles then crashed into two others, sending 13 folks aged 3 to 52 to the hospital.
