LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — 1000’s of present playing cards have been seized when police arrested two males accused of conducting a big fraud scheme concentrating on Meijer shops within the Detroit space, in line with the Michigan Legal professional Normal.

46-year-old Guanji Zhang of Irvine, CA and 35-year-old Huachao Solar of Los Angeles, have been each charged with one rely of Conducting a Felony Enterprise and two counts of Possession of Fraudulent or Altered Transaction System.

The boys have been allegedly stealing empty, unsold present playing cards from shops, recording the redemption numbers, after which concealing the numbers with adhesive to make them seem as if they weren’t tampered with.

Then, they’d return these present playing cards to their unique supposed level of sale and use pc packages to observe when the playing cards have been activated—transferring the stability to a different account and stealing the cash.

Zhang and Solar have been arrested at a resort in Dearborn final Wednesday. They have been arraigned within the 51st District Court docket in Waterford final Friday. They’re scheduled to look in courtroom subsequent Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. for a possible trigger convention.
