On January 8, 2024, the Ingham County Sheriff’s Workplace reported that an 88-year-old lady was defrauded of $9,500 in money after somebody falsely recognized themselves as regulation enforcement and claimed cash was wanted for bail for her daughter.
The 88-year-old lady handed over the money earlier than the rip-off was found.
