Ex-Arsenal star Jens Lehmann fined €135,000 after damaging neighbour’s storage with chainsaw

Former Arsenal star Jens Lehmann has been fined €135,000 (£112,000) for damaging his neighbour’s storage with a chainsaw.

The ex-goalkeeper was a member of the north London aspect’s ‘Invincibles’ group that went your complete 2003/04 season unbeaten.

The controversial former star obtained in hassle in his hometown of Starnberg, within the south of Germany.

Lehmann was accused by the general public prosecutor of sawing off a roof beam in his neighbour’s storage.

He was initially fined €420,000 (£350,000) over the incident, which passed off in July 2022.

Nevertheless, this price was diminished on enchantment.

“Mr Lehmann accepts responsibility. He has come to an agreement with his neighbour,” German media quoted Lehmann’s lawyer Florian Ufer as saying following the choice made on 27 September.

Lehmann, who was additionally accused of avoiding paying parking charges at Munich Airport has now paid them, Mr Ufer added.
