Gov. Gretchen Whitmer to pardon turkey for Thanksgiving

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– It was introduced that Governor Gretchen Whitmer will be part of neighborhood members in pardoning a turkey for this Thanksgiving vacation.

The celebration begins at 3:30 p.m. The turkey will obtain Gov. Whitmer’s pardon and can journey to the Saginaw Kids’s Zoo.

Whitmer introduced a turkey naming contest earlier this week. Final yr, a turkey named Dolly Pardon was chosen, and in 2022, Mitch E. Gander was the highest decide.
