LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The vacant Keeders Present Bar location on the nook of S. Elm Avenue and Web page Avenue in Jackson might be demolished by the town, officers introduced Wednesday afternoon.
The Jackson Metropolis Council accredited the acquisition of the constructing, and the town will tear it down as a part of an effort to revitalize the east facet of the town—and alter the picture of the realm.

The town is at the moment working to draw new funding to the realm alongside the Web page Avenue and E. Michigan Avenue business corridors, and the town says they need to be extra conscious of the sorts of companies the realm hosts.
Metropolis officers say they are not looking for a “business like this” in a residential space near houses.
“Bringing back more business and housing opportunities to the east side is going to take lots of time and energy, but removing blighted businesses with negative reputations is how we start that growth,” the town wrote in an announcement on social media.
