LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Michigan State Police arrested a person who stole a Jeep from the Detroit Police Division after a high-speed chase ended with a crash into an Eaton County residence.

Troopers have been dispatched to the CN Railroad distribution middle in Windsor Township for 2 individuals who entered below the fence line and tried to steal a GMC SUV off the lot.

Nevertheless, they left the automobile within the lot and ran away earlier than the police arrived.

Whereas looking out the realm, a trooper noticed two dark-colored Jeeps driving away from the scene close to Billwood Freeway and Oak Freeway. When the trooper tried to cease and call the motive force of one of many Jeeps, the motive force turned off the automobile’s lights and drove away at excessive velocity.
