LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Justin Bowman, a survivor of the lethal 2023 taking pictures on Michigan State College’s campus is suing the college for $50 million, alleging that the college is responsible for the taking pictures because of its negligence relating to its safety procedures.

The lawsuit, filed the day earlier than the taking pictures’s second anniversary, describes Bowman as being within the classroom the place the taking pictures occurred, hiding among the many lifeless our bodies of his classmates and making an attempt to cease the bleeding of one of many victims till she died.

Bowman’s lawsuit claims that the college’s administration knew of “severe security issues” on campus, having heard complaints from academics and college students a number of months earlier than the taking pictures relating to a scarcity of locks on campus buildings.
