Michael Clevenger, Battalion Chief for the Lansing Hearth Division, says there have been “heavy fire conditions coming from two sides of the front (of the home).”
Clevenger says the householders weren’t there through the fireplace and confirmed that nobody was injured.
One cat was discovered lifeless inside the house.
Clevenger says that the fireplace was put out effectively and successfully.
