Israel carries out ‘in depth strikes’ in Gaza – and warns it is going to act with ‘growing army drive’

Israel says it’s at the moment finishing up “extensive strikes on terror targets” throughout the Gaza Strip.

An announcement added that “from now on, Israel will act against Hamas with increasing military force”.

There have been fatalities and accidents on account of the strikes, a spokesman for the Palestinian Civil Defence added.

In a press release, the Prime Minister’s Workplace stated Benjamin Netanyahu and defence minister Yisrael Katz ordered the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) to “act forcefully” towards Hamas.

It got here after the militant group “repeatedly refused to release our hostages and rejected all offers it received from the US presidential envoy, Steve Witkoff, and from the mediators”.

“The operational plan was presented late last week by the IDF and approved by the political echelon,” the assertion added.

The IDF and Shin Guess described the strikes as “extensive” – and stated they have been towards “terror targets belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip”.

Final week, the Gaza well being ministry stated 9 Palestinians, together with three journalists, have been killed in an Israeli airstrike within the northern city of Beit Lahia.
