Ukraine-Russia peace talks defined

It comes after Mr Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff met Vladimir Putin in Moscow to debate a US-brokered peace plan for Ukraine.

The talks allowed Russia and the USA to “further bring their positions closer together” on “a number of international issues”, a Kremlin aide mentioned.
