5 folks have died following a mid-air collision between two helicopters close to Eura Airport in southwestern Finland, police mentioned.
The crash occurred shortly after midday close to the city of Kauttua, with the wreckage falling in a wooded space some 700 metres from the Ohikulkutie highway.
“Five people have died in a helicopter accident near Eura Airport on Saturday,” Detective Chief Inspector Johannes Siirila of the Nationwide Bureau of Investigation mentioned.

Two folks had been on board one helicopter and three on the opposite, based on flight plans, police mentioned, including that bothhelicopters had been registered exterior Finland.
Each belonged to Estonian corporations, with one owned by NOBE and the opposite by Eleon, the report added.
The Nationwide Bureau of Investigation is main a joint probe with native police, and Finnish and Estonian authorities are cooperating.
