17-year-old, girl charged after Everett Excessive College combat

17-year-old, girl charged after Everett Excessive College combat

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A youngster is going through weapon fees, and a 51-year-old girl is going through assault fees after police have been known as to Everett Excessive College in South Lansing for a combat involving a knife Tuesday afternoon.

PREVIOUS: Two arrested, gun seized at Everett Excessive College after combat

Based on the Ingham County Prosecutor’s Workplace, a 17-year-old boy has been charged with carrying a hid weapon and possession of a pistol in a college zone. He was charged as a juvenile.

Tameka Lengthy, 51, has been charged with assault with a lethal weapon, possession of a taser, resisting and obstructing police, and possession of a taser in a college zone.

Lengthy and the teenager have been arrested Tuesday after the Lansing Police Division says they have been known as to the varsity for a combat at round 12:39 p.m., with officers being instructed that somebody with a gun was working behind the varsity.

When police arrived, they have been instructed by college officers that that they had taken a gun from the teenager inside. Officers seized the gun, and the teenager was arrested. After additional investigation, police arrested Lengthy, who they are saying was concerned within the preliminary combat grievance, within the 1800 block of Osband Ave.

Lengthy is scheduled for a possible trigger convention on June 6 and a preliminary examination on June 13.
