‘Stability in Center East is precedence,’ says Starmer – as he calls on Iran to ‘return to negotiating desk’

Sir Keir Starmer has stated stability within the Center East is “a priority” following US strikes on Iran’s nuclear amenities.

The prime minister additionally referred to as on Iran to “return to the negotiating table” to “reach a diplomatic solution to end this crisis”.

In a press release, the prime minister stated: “Iran’s nuclear programme is a grave threat to international security.

“Iran can by no means be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon, and the US has taken motion to alleviate that risk.

“The situation in the Middle East remains volatile and stability in the region is a priority.

“We name on Iran to return to the negotiating desk and attain a diplomatic answer to finish this disaster.”
