MDOT stops some work, visitors restrictions for Labor Day

M-66, Osceola County, is closed over Doc and Tom Creek between US-10 and M-115.

Southwest Michigan

M-43 (West Major Avenue) in Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo County, has one lane open in every course between Drake Street and US-131. The correct-turn and one through-lane are closed from southbound Drake Street to westbound M-43.

M-96 (Columbia Avenue) in Battle Creek, Calhoun County, can have one lane open in every course between Riverside Drive and Beadle Lake Street.

US-131 in Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo County, has two lanes open in every course on the US-131 Enterprise Route (BR) interchange. US-131 BR has one lane open in every course.

US-131 in Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo County, has southbound visitors shifted onto a short lived bridge. KL Avenue is closed and detoured.

Central Michigan and Thumb

The Blue Water Bridge Plaza in Port Huron, St. Clair County, can have the next restrictions in place:

Eastbound I-94 has one lane closed east of the I-69 interchange.

I-94/I-69 BL (Pine Grove Avenue) has one lane open in every course between Hancock Avenue and Thomas Avenue.

Westbound I-94 BL has one lane closed from Water Avenue to Pine Grove Avenue.

I-75, Saginaw County, can have shoulder closures in every course between Dixie Freeway and Birch Run Street.

I-75, Saginaw County, has the northbound lanes of the Zilwaukee Bridge closed and detoured by way of I-675.

I-475, Genesee County, has all southbound lanes closed from Carpenter Street to Broadway Boulevard with a posted detour. One northbound lane is open from Davison Street to Carpenter Street.

M-13/M-84 (Lafayette Avenue Bridge), Bay County, is closed between Evergreen Drive and Water Avenue on the Saginaw River and detoured.

M-20, Midland County, has one lane open in every course between Meridian Street and Major Avenue with a middle flip lane.

M-25, Sanilac County, has one lane open in every course between Derby and French Line roads by way of non permanent indicators.

M-30, Midland County, is closed and detoured at US-10.

M-46, Sanilac County, is closed between Ruth and Maple Grove roads for bridge work. Detour posted.

M-58, Saginaw County, has eastbound visitors shifted to the westbound aspect from Avalon Avenue to Bay Avenue.

M-71 in Corunna, Shiawassee County, has the left lane closed from Corunna Avenue to McNeil Avenue with a visitors shift.

M-71 in Owosso, Shiawassee County, is closed between Corunna Avenue and Water Avenue and detoured.

M-90, Lapeer County, has one lane open over the North Department of the Flint River with non permanent indicators.

Southern Michigan

Airport Street in Jackson, Jackson County, has one northbound lane open over I-94.

Jefferson Street, Jackson County, is closed at US-127 with a posted detour.

I-75 Connector (Summit Avenue), Monroe County, has one lane closed in every course between Substation Street and Temperance Street.

I-75, Monroe County, has one lane closed in every course between Otter Creek and Dunbar roads.

I-96, Livingston County, has eastbound Exit 140 to Latson Street closed. The eastbound I-96 Enterprise Loop (Grand River Avenue) entrance ramp to eastbound I-96 close to Lake Chemung is closed.  

I-96 in Brighton, Livingston County, can have the next restrictions on the Grand River Avenue interchange:

I-96 can have one lane closed in every course with a visitors shift.

The Grand River Avenue entrance ramp to westbound I-96 is closed.

Grand River Avenue has two lanes open in every course with a visitors shift.

M-43 (Grand River Avenue), Ingham County, is closed on the Crimson Cedar River.

M-99, Ingham and Eaton counties, has the next restrictions in place:

One lane closed in every course between Holt Street and Edgewood Boulevard.

The M-99 ramp to eastbound I-96 is closed.

Eastbound I-96 Exit 101 to M-99 is closed.

M-106 (Cooper Avenue) in Jackson, Jackson County, is closed between Washington Avenue and Pearl Avenue and detoured.

M-106 (Cooper Avenue), Jackson County, has one lane closed in every course on the Portage River utilizing a short lived visitors sign.

US-23, Washtenaw County, has shoulder closures in every course at Pleasure Street. Pleasure Street is closed over US-23.

US-127/I-496 in Lansing, Ingham County, has the next restrictions:

Lane closures in every course between I-96 and M-43.

The northbound US-127/I-496 ramp to westbound I-496 is closed.

The eastbound I-496 and southbound US-127 ramps to Trowbridge Street are closed.

The Trowbridge Street entrance ramp to southbound US-127/I-496 is closed.

Metro Detroit

Macomb County 

None.

Oakland County

I-75 has two lanes open in every course between M-15 and the Genesee County line.

Eastbound I-696 is closed from M-10 to I-75.  

Wayne County

I-75 has one lane closed in every course between Springwells Avenue and Clark Avenue for Gordie Howe Worldwide Bridge development.

The I-94/I-696 interchange in St. Clair Shores can have the next restrictions:

The eastbound I-696 ramp to eastbound I-94 can have just one lane open.

Eastbound I-94 can have three lanes open at Martin Street.

The Eleven Mile Street entrance ramp to eastbound I-94 is closed.

Northbound M-3 (Gratiot Avenue) has two lanes open from Mt. Elliot Avenue to Forest Avenue.

M-10 (Lodge Freeway) has the next restrictions in downtown Detroit:

One northbound lane is open from Griswold Avenue to Larned Avenue.

One southbound lane is open from US-12 (Michigan Avenue) to Larned Avenue.

Southbound Exit 1B to Larned Avenue is closed.

Northbound Exit 1A ramp to westbound Jefferson Avenue is closed.

The eastbound Jefferson Avenue ramp to southbound M-10 is closed.

M-10 (Lodge Freeway) has two southbound lanes open at M-102 (8 Mile Street).

Eastbound Previous M-14 (Ann Arbor Street) has one lane open from Lilley Street to Haggerty Street.

Previous M-14 (Ann Arbor Street) is closed on the Hines Drive bridge.

M-14/I-96 has one lane open in every course between Beck Street and Levan Street. The next ramps are closed:

Eastbound M-14 to southbound I-275.

Eastbound M-14 to northbound I-275.

Northbound I-275 to westbound M-14.

M-85 (Fort Avenue) has one lane open in every course between W Grand Boulevard and Clark Avenue.

M-85 (Fort Avenue) has one lane open in every course between Springwells Avenue and Woodmere Avenue.

Westbound M-102 (8 Mile Street) has two lanes open from Evergreen Street to Lahser Street.

Westbound US-12 (Michigan Avenue) has two lanes open from Venoy Street to Newburgh Street.

Northbound US-24 (Telegraph Street) has one lane open from Pennsylvania Street to Eureka Street; the southbound US-23 ramp to southbound I-75 is closed.
