Bakery chain Greggs is to extend its costs from Thursday because it grapples with elevated employment prices.

The value of a two-item breakfast deal will rise from £2.95 to £3.15 because the chain’s chief government, Roisin Currie, mentioned the “big cost” it needed to issue on this 12 months was employment.

The three-item breakfast deal may also go up 20p, from £3.95 to £4.15.
