LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Lansing’s mayor has signed an government order prohibiting “private individuals filming inside City buildings for private commercial purpose.”
Mayor Andy Schor signed the chief order on September 30.
The order is the results of an argument stemming from a Labor Day weekend video shoot at metropolis of Lansing Hearth Division station in downtown Lansing.

P.B. Yanna stated she had permission to movie a music video within the fireplace station positioned at Shiawassee St. and Grand Ave. The ultimate video options LFD staff, gear and a number of areas within the station — together with the roof.
The town has been investigating using the ability and the investigation is ongoing, says metropolis spokesman Scott Bean.
