MSP: Lakewood Public Colleges closed amid alleged menace investigation

MSP: Lakewood Public Colleges closed amid alleged menace investigation

WOODLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — State police say Lakewood Public Colleges in northeastern Barry County shall be closed Wednesday as they examine an “alleged threat.”

Troopers have recognized these concerned, in accordance with the Michigan State Police.

Out of “an abundance of caution,” the superintendent determined to shut the colleges for the day, MSP stated. Positioned within the Woodland/Lake Odessa space, the district consists of Lakewood Excessive College, Lakewood Center College, Lakewood Elementary and Lakewood Early Childhood Heart.

Investigators don’t imagine there’s a menace to the general public.
