Capital Space Humane Society warns of pet care scams

Capital Space Humane Society warns of pet care scams

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — If somebody from the Capital Space Humane Society calls you and tells you your pet is damage—it won’t really be them.

In a publish on Fb, the group says that scammers have been contacting folks claiming to characterize them, and telling victims that they’ve their pet in “urgent care.”

These scammers then request bank card data over the cellphone.

Nonetheless, the Capital Space Humane Society doesn’t function an pressing care heart.

Moreover, the group says they are going to by no means ask for cost data over the cellphone.

“If you receive such a call, do not provide any personal or financial information,” writes the group. “Hang up immediately and report the incident to local law enforcement.”
