Craig and Lindsay Foreman: British couple detained in Iran are named – as household ‘considerably involved’

A British couple who’ve been detained in Iran have been named by their household as Craig and Lindsay Foreman.

The household mentioned they’re “significantly concerned” by the “distressing situation”.

In a press release, they mentioned: “We would like to take this opportunity to address the distressing situation concerning Craig and Lindsay Foreman who are currently being detained in Kerman, Iran.

“This sudden flip of occasions has induced important concern for our complete household, and we’re deeply targeted on guaranteeing their security and well-being throughout this making an attempt time.

“We’re actively partaking with the British authorities and related authorities, working diligently to navigate the complexities of this matter. The household are united in our willpower to safe their protected return.

“We truly appreciate the outpouring of support from friends, family, and the community, which has provided us with strength and encouragement as we face this ordeal.”

They added: “Thank you for your understanding, compassion, and continued support.”

A International Workplace spokesperson earlier mentioned: “We are providing consular assistance to two British nationals detained in Iran and are in contact with the local authorities.”

Iranian state media mentioned on Wednesday {that a} man and girl have been in custody in Iran’s southeastern metropolis of Kerman on security-related costs.
