Taiwanese crypto trade BitoPro has confirmed that it was hacked after ZachXBT revealed it had uncared for to reveal a $11.5 million safety incident that happened over three weeks in the past.

The crypto sleuth revealed on Telegram at the moment that BitoPro was seemingly hacked on Could 8, 2025. BitoPro’s solely disclosure got here within the type of a upkeep downtime announcement that failed to say the hack.

BitoPro has since confirmed the assault happened after a number of customers started sharing ZachXBT’s findings three hours after they had been printed.

BitoPro says its operations are regular once more and that its crypto is “sufficiently stocked.” It added that it has employed a safety agency to analyze the matter, and that it’s going to publicize its new scorching pockets deal with within the title of transparency.
