Deliberations proceed Wednesday in Schurr trial in Lyoya loss of life

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A jury continues deliberations Wednesday within the case of a former Grand Rapids police officer who’s accused of homicide after he shot and killed a driver following a visitors cease.

Christopher Schurr is accused of second-degree homicide within the loss of life of Patrick Lyoya.

On Tuesday afternoon, jurors instructed the decide they did not suppose they may attain a verdict. She instructed them to maintain deliberating, which is normal.
