ELPD investigates demise of 20-year-old from Fowlerville

ELPD investigates demise of 20-year-old from Fowlerville

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The East Lansing Police Division is investigating the demise of a 20-year-old man from Fowlerville.

On Saturday, Jan. 18, police had been dispatched to an assault that had occurred within the 300 block of E. Grand River Ave at round 1:30 a.m.

The sufferer was recognized as Caleb Alan Shermoe. He was transported to Sparrow Hospital by the East Lansing Hearth Division the place he was later pronounced lifeless.

ELPD has positioned and recognized a suspect and is presently looking for fees by the Ingham County Prosecutor’s Workplace.

Police say if and when the costs are issued, ELPD will launch the suspect’s id to the general public.

Anybody having any data or video which may be of help on this case is requested to contact the ELPD. Suggestions needs to be directed to Detective Austin Nelson or Detective Jason Cotton.
