Rapper Ghetts going through new prices after allegedly inflicting loss of life by harmful driving

The rapper Ghetts, who allegedly brought about the loss of life of a person in a hit-and-run collision, is going through additional prices.

The rapper was charged on the finish of final month after a 20-year-old died in a street incident in northeast London.

The musician, whose actual identify is Justin Clarke-Samuel, initially confronted a single rely of inflicting the loss of life of Yubin Tamang by harmful driving.

He now faces two additional prices of driving dangerously earlier than and after the collision on 18 October.

It’s alleged he drove dangerously in Tavistock Place, within the Bloomsbury space of central London, and on different roads within the borough of Camden, north London.

The collision with Mr Tamang occurred on Redbridge Lane, Ilford, at 11.33pm on 18 October, the Met Police stated. Clarke-Samuel is accused of failing to cease after his BMW hit the sufferer.

Mr Tamang died on 20 October.

Clarke-Samuel allegedly continued to drive dangerously in Worcester Crescent, Redbridge, on the journey again to his residence in King’s Avenue, Woodford, east London.

The black BMW, which is allegedly registered and insured within the defendant’s identify, was stated to have suffered important injury.

The rapper has been in custody since a preliminary look at Barkingside Magistrates’ Courtroom on 27 October.

On Monday, he appeared on the Previous Bailey by videolink from Pentonville jail and spoke to verify his identify.

Mr Tamang’s household watched within the courtroom, having travelled to the UK from Nepal.

Adjourning the case, Decide Nigel Lickley KC stated Clarke-Samuel might seem in courtroom by videolink once more subsequent time as he additional remanded him in custody.
