Hamas has rejected an Israeli request to increase the primary section of the Gaza ceasefire, a senior official has stated.

The militant group will solely launch the remaining Israeli hostages beneath the phrases of the already agreed-upon phased deal, Mahmoud Mardawi informed Al Jazeera on Sunday.
