LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — U.S. Rep. Invoice Huizenga (MI-4) introduced Wednesday he is not going to run for U.S. Senate, regardless of widespread hypothesis he’d enter the race.
Huizenga made the announcement by way of social media submit, hinting at plans to return later this 12 months:

Huizenga represents Michigan’s 4th congressional district, which incorporates all of Allegan and Van Buren counties and parts of Berrien, Calhoun, Kalamazoo, and Ottawa Counties.
The congressman’s first election was to symbolize Michigan’s ninetieth district within the state Home of Representatives. From there, he was elected to the U.S. Home of Representatives in 2010, representing the 2nd Congressional District up till 2022, when redistricting led him to decide on to run within the 4th district, which he has represented ever since.
