Shirley Valentine actress Pauline Collins has died “peacefully”, aged 85, surrounded by her household.
The actress, who starred within the first collection of sitcom The Liver Birds, and have become a family identify in Upstairs Downstairs, had Parkinson’s illness for a number of years.

Born in Exmouth in 1940, Collins was raised close to Liverpool and commenced her profession as a instructor.
