LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A invoice was launched to the Michigan Home of Representatives that, if handed, would have the state undertake a brand new flag on Jan. 1, 2026.

Rep. Phil Skaggs (D-East Grand Rapids) launched HB 6190 on Tuesday, which might create a flag fee to carry a state flag design contest.
