It Ends With Us star Justin Baldoni sues New York Occasions for libel over Blake Vigorous harassment allegations

The lawsuit, which seeks at the least $250m (£199m) in damages, was the most recent in a authorized battle that has engulfed the 2 stars. Vigorous has filed a separate federal lawsuit in opposition to Baldoni and others alleging harassment.

The Occasions has defended its reporting and stated it plans to “vigorously defend” in opposition to the lawsuit.

Baldoni was dropped by his company, WME, instantly after Vigorous filed her grievance and The Occasions printed its story. The company represents each Vigorous and Reynolds.

Bryan Freedman, a lawyer who represents Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios, and its representatives, beforehand referred to as the accusations “completely false, outrageous and intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt and rehash a narrative in the media”.

Lively has further accused Baldoni of orchestrating a smear campaign against her around the time of the film's release.

Baldoni took a backseat in selling the movie whereas Vigorous took centre stage together with Reynolds, who was on the press circuit for Deadpool & Wolverine on the similar time.
