“We will be the primary lady band to signify the UK since 1999, which looks like such a loopy honour.”

They stated they wish to convey “loads of fun” to the competition and “do something that you won’t have seen before on the Eurovision stage”.

They added: “This is really the music World Cup and we’ll do our best to bring it home.”

The trio have already got a big following on social media, together with over 500,000 followers on TikTok and 11 million likes.
