The King and Queen have been joined by celebrities at a black-tie dinner celebrating Italian delicacies and “slow food”.

The King additionally made a martini with Italian mixologist Alessandro Palazzi, laughing when the lemon nearly went up his nostril as he tried to take a sip.

It comes after Buckingham Palace confirmed that the King and Queen will go to each Italy and the Holy See in April – coinciding with their twentieth marriage ceremony anniversary.

Each of the royals will be a part of Pope Francis in celebrating the 2025 Jubilee Yr and can go to Rome and the northeastern metropolis of Ravenna throughout the state visits.
