Lansing couple sentenced for loss of life of toddler daughter

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A Lansing couple has been sentenced for second-degree homicide and first-degree youngster abuse after the loss of life of their 3-day-old toddler daughter in 2017.

Joshua and Rachel Piland had been sentenced right now within the Ingham County Circuit Courtroom and will serve as much as 45 years in jail, with parole eligibility in 20 years.
