Lansing's eco-friendly sculpture occasion returns

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– An eco-friendly artwork occasion is coming again to Lansing!

ScrapFest has introduced its fifteenth annual sculpture competitors in Previous City. The occasion will showcase what native artists can do with recycled supplies.

ScrapFest begins right now from 5 p.m. by way of 9 p.m. and Saturday, from 11 a.m. by way of 7 p.m.

Occasion officers say it is not simply an artwork competitors; there will likely be an public sale, dwell music, meals, welding demonstrations, a Refashion Present with garments made out of scrap material, and a documentary sequence that may characteristic the artists within the competitors.

Scrap steel for every sculpture has been donated by Friendland Industries. Officers say attendees could have the chance to solid votes for his or her favourite sculptures.
