“We’re not going to quit, I promise you that,” Sparks coach Coach Lynn Roberts stated. “I trust these guys. They want to win and they’re upset that we lost. And we have a choice — we can emotionally, mentally check out and just kind of go through the motions or we can dig down. And I know these guys are going to dig down.”

Roberts praised Azurá Stevens, who led the Sparks with 17 factors and 6 rebounds, and Rae Burrell, who added 12 factors and two rebounds. Plum contributed 12 factors, three rebounds and three assists.
