A person has been charged with stealing flowers left as a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne in Birmingham.

Parviz Jafari, 45, was arrested on Saturday after police acquired stories tributes had been stolen from town centre.

Officers attended the scene, close to Black Sabbath Bridge and a mural painted in Osbourne’s honour, and after making inquiries, recognized Jafari as a suspect.

He was arrested, charged, and can seem earlier than magistrates on 3 September, West Midlands Police stated.

Osbourne died aged 76 on 23 July, having lived with Parkinson’s illness for a few years. His loss of life got here simply weeks after performing a remaining farewell Black Sabbath gig at Birmingham’s Villa Park.

Hundreds of followers turned out to see his funeral cortege go by every week later, along with his household putting their flowers so as to add to the ocean left by locals.

Sharon Osbourne and her kids Kelly, Jack, and Aimee had been in tears as they took within the crowds.
