Meghan reveals who mentioned ‘I like you’ first with Harry – and what she misses in regards to the UK

Meghan reveals who mentioned ‘I like you’ first with Harry – and what she misses in regards to the UK

The second season of the Duchess of Sussex’s life-style present With Love, Meghan, has been launched. 

Over the eight-episode collection, which options movie star friends together with US mannequin and TV persona Chrissy Teigen and Queer Eye’s Tan France, Meghan opens up about what she misses most in regards to the UK, the meal she cooked on the evening Prince Harry proposed, and who mentioned “I love you” first.

Regardless of Harry not making a cameo within the Netflix present, Meghan does give some perception into her life with the prince, and their two kids, Archie and Lilibet.

In a single episode, she says it was Harry who first mentioned he cherished her, and that she fell in love with him whereas tenting in Botswana, on the pair’s third date.

Later, Meghan reveals she tried to make a roast rooster on the evening Harry proposed in 2017, but it surely did not end up how she anticipated.

“I will say when I made a roast chicken for my now-husband I was still having a lot of challenges with the conversion of celsius and fahrenheit. I made a horrible chicken that night. I mean, truly terrible,” she says.

After first getting married, Meghan had deliberate to use for British citizenship. However the pair later moved to the US after stepping down from their roles as working royals.

In episode three, with British clothier Tan France, Meghan admits one of many issues she “misses the most” in regards to the UK, after leaving 5 years in the past.

She says: “Honestly, one of the things I miss the most about the UK is the radio station called Magic.”

To which France quips: “Magic FM. Wow! Now, sorry to say this to you publicly, but that’s such a grandma station.”

A laughing Meghan replies: “I’ll be that grandma.”
